My Story

I founded Turning Points in 1995 to serve both individuals and organizations. By using my natural talents of insight, practical problem solving, collaboration, and persistence, I energize individuals to identify and achieve their goals. In partnership with organizations, I enhance the professional development programs they already have in place. Whether as a group or as individuals, my approach results in changes to the one thing every person can control — themselves.

The unique combination of education and experience I’ve acquired make me ideally suited for the role of coach and advisor. My PhD is in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, where I learned the tools and techniques to effect change. Seven years of taking on progressive responsibilities inside an organization provided me with real-world experience (I went from being an individual contributor to AVP). Teaching at two universities in psychology and management departments and advising undergraduates showed me the importance that initial approaches to career-related decision making are to establishing productive or unproductive patterns over a lifetime. And years of coaching since then have honed my listening skills and made me an effective advocate for change in your life.
