First and foremost, I hope this blog finds you and your families in good health.

I don’t know anyone that has not been impacted in some way by the COVID-19 global pandemic. For me, there is a deeper level of reflection on priorities, appreciation, and complete clarity of my purpose of creating lasting change through the development of individuals.

As people are changing how they work (being a student is definitely a job, too!), thinking about what might make these changes easy and what might make these changes difficult could make the difference between a good day and a not so good day. These new ways of working often require changes in how you do your work — how you interact with others, a greater focus on a specific time horizon, changes to the structure of your responsibilities, and the amount of variety you experience.

In case you’re like me and have a little extra time on your hands, this could make it the perfect time to review how your natural talents impact your experience of change. I call it productive self-reflection — no consultation necessary! Why not review your HAB results on your own for hints — after all, parsing out and naming issues incrementally can often lead to small changes, that lead to big changes in how you feel. You can even ramp this up a notch and read (or re-read) the book Don’t Waste Your Talent to remind yourself of the benefits of creating your personal vision.

It is super easy to access your HAB report. Just click on the butterfly logo on my homepage and enter your username and password, or click here

Among health and financial fears and stressors outside of your control, I’m hoping you take a little time for yourself for productive self-reflection. I’m here if you have any questions.

Stay well,

Dori
